Asian Neighborhood Design - Providing housing, community development and skills training and employment opportunities to low-income individuals and families.

Helping - SF.org - Listing of education and employment connections for youth.

H.O.M.E.Y. - Empower youth to prevent violence and promote alternative lifestyles.

Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc. - Works to improve the quality of life in the greater Mission Community of San Francisco by providing culturally sensitive human services that both support and empower individuals and families

San Francisco Violence Prevention Network   - Development of a violence prevention network and roadmap which is the basis for the Mayor's Violence Prevention Plan  which was completed in 2008.

Vocational Training and Employment Resources

Alternative for Latinas Self-Sufficiency/Women's Initiative for Self-Employment  - Development of skills for Latinas for self employment.

Arriba Juntos- Training and employment opportunities in the Mission/Potrero District of San Francisco

Bridges - develops and supports mutually beneficial job placement to meet the workforce needs of local employers and the vocational goals of young people.

Juma Ventures - works to empowers youth to make successful transitions to independence in adulthood through an innovative program that integrates employment in social enterprises, college preparation, career  services and financial education.

New Ways Workers/SF Youthworks - provides an opportunity for youth to explore a city government career and learn basic job skills.  There are internships provides in over 30 department in the City and County of San Francisco.

OpNet Community Ventures - train and support low-income young adults in entering the skilled new media workforce.

San Francisco Conservation Core - offers youth opportunities to develop academic abilities and marketable job skills while addressing community needs.

San Francisco League of Urban Gardeners - "SLUG is committed to building community by meeting community needs from the inside. Gardening and greening workshops, jobs and job training, education, and emotional support, these are all integral elements in our mission".

Treasure Island Job Corp Center - a facility that teaches a trade, high school education, participation in hands-on job training and offers job placement support. 

Youth Cares (International Institute of the Bay Area) - Brings together diverse groups of youth to gain leadership and job skills through peer counseling and tutoring programs.

Law Enforcement Services

Juvenile Probation Department - The mission is to serve youth and families with appropriate interventions and placements that do not compromise public safety with the participation of all juvenile justice stakeholders.

San Francisco Gang Task Force 

Victim Services -  Programs include: Victim Witness Assistance, Victim Compensation, Family Violence Project, Special Emphasis Homicide, Special Emphasis Elder Abuse, Special Emphasis Asian Pacific Islander, Domestic Violence, Special Emphasis Child Abuse. If you have been a victim of a crime and need assistance, you can call our office at (415) 553-9044. A representative will speak with you and determine how we can assist you. All services are free of cost to victims. The Division is located at the District Attorney's Office, 850 Bryant Street, Room 320, San Francisco.

Mental Health/Anger Management and Family Services

Larkin Street Youth Services - offers an integrated program to address mental health and substance abuse, emergency assistance, housing, education and employment and referral to other community providers.

San Francisco Department of Public Health Trauma Recovery Center

San Francisco Critical Incidence Response Team - provides first-response counseling to victims and witnesses of violent crimes and their families.  In addition, therapists provide long-term individual and family therapy..  The team effectively collaborates with community-based organizations in order to effectively reach those who need services.

San Francisco General Hospital  Trauma Center and Social Services

ManAlive - non-violence courses for men.

After-School and Social Services

Brothers Against Guns - Social and vocational services.

Girls 2000 - A program for women and girls with a history of gang involvement.

Peacekeepers - Mentorship program for at-risk youth.

San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center - Family support to avoid consequences of child abuse and neglect.
