Director

The Director oversees staff meetings on a weekly basis and is the direct supervisor of the Case Managers. The Director is also responsible for leading the efforts for continued funding and policy advocacy. The Director oversees budget activities and educational endeavors for the program. Dr. Rochelle A. Dicker, the Founding Director of Wraparound established the pilot program for Wraparound in 2003. After Dr. Dicker received her post-medical school training in surgery and trauma, she completed a Fellowship in Violence Prevention through the California Wellness Foundation. This program focused on the importance of looking at violence from a health care perspective and emphasized the importance of cultural competency. She has experience beginning and sustaining Wraparound as well as a Fall Prevention program for Senior Citizens. Dr. Dicker continues to be an active member of the core of Trauma Surgeons at San Francisco General Hospital and teaches medical students and residents the importance of violence prevention.
